This video emits many emotions and feelings; it can be interpreted in different ways so multiple forms of musical compositions could fit in with the video. Some of these thoughts can be contradicting, for example quite saddening but also hopeful. I get this idea of hopefulness and optimism from the fact the sky is moving quickly towards a new day but this sense of sadness comes from the sky being in darkness and being alone in that place. Because of the focus of the video, It may make a viewer begin to be in awe of the stars or the northern lights, shown many times here. It also brings about questions regarding the massive universe many other unanswerable scientific questions. Therefore, because of this, it might make the viewer feel small because of the large landscape and the universe that never ends. Also contradicting this, I gather this feeling of calmness from the video as well. This might perhaps be because everything is very still; there is hardly any wind moving the grass, trees and flowers. As well as this, it feels like you are at one with nature. No big manmade structures or any other people are in these frames which makes it peacefully. Personally, I would love to be where that video is recorded! Therefore, the silent video’s feelings mostly show hopefulness, awe and calmness.

This music makes a drastic change to the feel of the video and I feel like the classical elements like piano and the string quartet work really well here. In my opinion, I think that the feelings and emotions can be felt a lot stronger, especially a much more sorrowful and melancholic atmosphere. This can be felt through the slow pace and use of minor chords. As well as this, the score adds more wonder because it infers this additional awe that was felt in the silent video but not prominently. The silent video makes me feel more alone, however, this one contradicts this with the additional music and instead of being alone, calmness is definitely in the forefront feeling. So overall, I believe the video with the temp score brings out feelings of sadness, yet calm and also this sense of awe and wonder.
