In this part of the project, we are analysing a case study of our choice that shows things that can go wrong during performances for example; fire hazards, unsafe staging, unsafe electricals, weather, sound exposure, trip/falling hazards and many more. We are then suggesting ways that this hazard could have been prevented. Health and safety are important in music and especially in live performances as it ensures that the artists, crew and even the audience will be away from hazards during a show so they are safe.
We are then filling out our own risk assessment form for a show that would happen in Bradford College. We have to go through what problems might occur and why, the causes and effects of this hazard and what we can do to prevent this from happening. Risk assessments are filled out by the crew to ensure that any hazards are pointed out and are sorted out in time for the performance.
