Amendment

For my final project I have attempted to code my music into the video game, upon trying to do this I have learned there is a very steep learning curve when learning to programme music into games. Furthermore learning this would take up a lot of time within my project and put a pause on my music composition, therefore I would like to make an amendment to my project. Instead of coding the music into the video game I would instead like to capture gameplay footage of the final three levels of the game, and layer the music over the top of the footage in the places the music was initially intended to be. This will save me a lot of time within my project, furthermore allowing me to compose my music to a higher standard while still implementing the music into the video game in a different form.

I will also no longer be uploading my music to Soundcloud, this is because the structure of my music follows a very non-linear form that adapts to the visuals of the gameplay. Therefore posting the music without the gameplay would appear very abrupt and random to the listener, therefore I will only be uploading my music to Instagram Reels and Youtube. This is because these two platforms can be posted with audio and video together and still have the potential to reach many viewers.

On week 6 I stopped developing my action block theme as when I synced it with the footage I discovered their was no room to fit this music block into the music, therefore all the improvements I said I was going to make on this section of music will not be seen through. As now there is no need for this music block.
