Introduction

For this project I, and the rest of the second year students, were to host a live music event to raise money for a charity of our choice. This means that we were to take control of organizing the whole event and essentially making it all happen.

So, while we all had input on each role that needed fulfilling, we split up and each took control of the main roles; Promotion, Audio Technician, Band Organizer, Logistics, and Communication (email and phone).

My main role was the sound technician.

On top of being the event organizers, we were also to perform in the event. Consequently we had to come up with and learn a small set of around 6 songs to perform after the other two bands of the first year students.
Firstly I will cover the organizational side of the project, and then the performance side.
