Black Dyke Mills Gig

We were also tasked with performing at the Black Dyke Mills Heritage Venue in queensbury as part of our project. this was to get more experiance playing live, and to promote ourselves as musicians.

For this gig, we performed together as The Cassettes, as we have done in the past several times; Keys, Guitar, and four vocal parts. This meant that we already had a set arranged and it was only a matter of rehearsing it a few times to iron out any flaws.

Our set lasted a toatal of 25 minuets, and we performed 6 songs:

The Chain by Fleetwood Mac,

Don’t Let Go by En Vouge,

Work Song by Oscar Brown,

City Of Streetlights (Original),

Too Good At Goodbyes by Sam Smith,

And finally Sweet Child o’ Mine by Guns n’ Roses.

Overall this gig went really well, the sound produced was really nice and the venue suited our performance well. It was clear that as individuals, we had all come a long way as performers and as musicians.
