During my project, I made sure to take health and safety very seriously to ensure everything could run as smoothly as possible, and minimise the risk of any potential injury or hazards arising. I made full use of the risk assessment that I had put together in my Pre-Production blog, and this helped me to organise any necessary precautions appropriately.
While I was working from home my only health and safety concern was the potential of a fire hazard arsing, therefore I made sure all exits were clear and usable, and that all of my electrical equipment was switched off at the mains when not in use.
When collaborating with Abi in college, I made sure to follow Covid guidelines by always wearing a face covering when indoors.
I also ensured my cable management was neat and clearly visible to avoid any potential trip hazards.
I also took fire exits into consideration here as well.
