the project overview
the genre of this project is primarily electronic with hardstyle elements my inspration of this is sub zero project and pendulum lyrically i have tryed to make a supernatural theamed lyrics with some degree of fanticy and have used metaphors like the the “draw before the line” these lyrics are inspired by a mixture of Ronnie James Dio korns Jonathan Davis and nine inch nails Trent reinsure

some of the sounds used in the track have been created from scratch with drum hi=hats and cases to make hi-hats and bass drums and sneres

song structure
the sturcture of this song is verse chorus verse double chorus verse outro i write this way to add simplicity so the listener can easly i dentify the differant parts of the compsition and so the listener can have parts that are catchy wiilst still have the usual verse corus dynamic to add to the song
the beginning and lyrical reasoning
at the beginning of the project we used the decks and midi keyboads as a way of getting some inspiration for what we wanted to compose this in cluded many sub genres of electronic music like techno jungle drum and bass hard style and garage this was useful to get a feel for the type of music that we where making we used a software called record box to mix tracks together to give inspiration and fresh ways of seeing already established songs this partially helped me find the kind of lyrical structure that i wanted to use for this project this structure consisted in sentences that where relatively short to add a larger quantity of lyrics because of this the chorus is shorter than usual sort of chorus this type of chorus took inspiration from rappers like NF to make a shorter chus as a rock style chorus may not have worked in this type of song

theses beats where early ideas theses early ideas allowed us to thurther experiment in softwires and to find the sound we wanted by programing some drums behind a synthwave style back backbeat the inspiration for this was music from grand theft auto vs music (salmons theam) doing this let us experment with different synth sounds and how the drums stringed together with these symphonic elements
