What whent well during my compositon
I think that the Instrment creation whent well instrmental tone. I think I was able to fuse the clasic heavy metal and hardrock style with some electronic influences well. I did this in production by adding small details like adding extra drum tracks to both give more punch and life to the sound. This allowed me to also add effects like delay to the kit to give it a slight electronic feel. I also used extra drum tracks to try and simulate overhead recording to give the drums a more live and powerfull feel, this complimented with the compressor gave me the abillty to make the drums sound slightly industrial this allowed the drums to have more presence. I think this will help the drums have more presence and will give the drums a more distinct sound alongside this I think that I chose a good range of instrments and sounds to develope an almoast cinamatic end to the track this ending allowed me to add elements such as strings, keybords and organs, this allowed me to biuld a strong shift in the track and can easly draw the player out of the event in the context of game composition another thing that went well was the timeing the timeing in this track stayed solid for the entire track. This fetured tempo changes I chose to do this becuse I would keep the intensity going and allowed me to keep the action going and increasing thruout the entire composition.
What I think I could have done better
I think that I could have used more elements to give a fuller sound as in some sections the repeating riffs might loose the listeners attention. To do this I would add elements like guitar parts between repetitons of the riff to give the more movement and to add more musical progretion to the track. I could also do this with synth pads to suppliment in some more grander elements I could also do this with strings to give the strings more pressence to make the introduction at the outro of the song seem less sudden. I think another element that I could have done better is the stansitions I think the transitions work but in some aspects I think they are slightly gareing and could need tweaks to make thm ore better for the action bassed elements of the track. I think this becuse one of the most important elements in a action sean is the flow of the situation and the way that the music reflects a great example of this is the final sbattle in the pantom mennice where the music perfectly complemnts the elergy fo the sean and the distictive parts of this seane. I also think another thing that I could have used was the chior sounds that I recorded these sounds could have given the track a more intense feel if used correctly and could give the song emotion as one of the key ways a track can have feel is by incorprating emotion thrugh techneques like minor cords, darkness or human emotin a choir additon could help bridge this gap by adding humanity to the track. This may also have potentialy would aid listener engagment becues genraly listeners gravitat more towards songs with vocal as shown by the current trends in music as almoast all of the top tracks courrently out have some degree of vocal reesince in the track.
