  3. scarlet focus ride audio interface
  4. studio speakers (stereo pair)
  5. roland cube amplifire

Faciltyies used

for this recording i used one of the editing rooms this was becuse the recording was directly placed in to logic this ment that I would not need proper room acustic treatment as the signals where directly transfered from the keyboad in the mixing process i will need to add gain to give the vocals more pressence in the final track.

Why have I chosen a chior sound for this composition

I have chosen this to both have a differant element and to provide the song with some human intensity this also lets me add a srong backing to the already high energy heavy metal sound that is being portrayed in this composition I also think that this allows me to form some formilliarity to the original and can be a way to pay omage to the original composition whilst still mishing will with the overall composition

Why did i choose to record this with a live instrment as opose to programing

I chose this becuse I think it allows me to showcase more of my skill set as a musition. I also made this desision to fix the issue of not haveing vocal samples in the packs I had available in logic. I was able to record this well due to the roland compatiblity within logic I chose to use a live instrment to get aroud this problem also a live instrment allowed me to be more dynamic as I had full controle of effect mainpulation in real time which allowed me to make a more dynamic sound that also could potentaly meimic differant types of choirs with parts of the chire being able to be taken out or added wilst giveing me sustain with effects like release and reverb

Available effects

On this keyboard there are mulitple effects like attack, release and delay these allow for more customisabillty in the final sound and can also provide a live transition between sounds that still keep the same note to both satify the harmonic and dynamic needs of the compositoin this process was also great for giveing me more inspration and tought me how to set up live instrments and how softwere instrments can be used along side live playing form physical instrments to give a differant sound with eleents from mulitipul types of music proformance.
