The structure and lyrical meaning
The sturcture of this song is, verse chorus verse 2 chorus solo chorus the lyrics of the song follow a homeless man and the struggles he has to deal with like the harsh environment of the city. This can be heired in lyrics like “freezing rests his head on a pillow made of concreate, again.”
Evaluation
for this practice session i have played an instrumental in the background this is slightly pitched down. Because of this I can learn the pitch. I also did this in one take to give a more live sounding rehearsal this also tested me on the lyrics and melodic rhythm of the song.
What can be improved.
To improve I need to change to the original track to keep the original key of the song. This will make the transition to full band rehearsals seamless and will lower the studio time needed to record the song. I also think that I can practice with piano to give a greater degree of accuracy of the song.

This was useful for me to understand the rhythm. this also allowed me to gain a greater mastery of my pitch as i can hear how the vocals sound pitched down.
