Why did i use trackstacks
I used trackstacs to make the overall process of mastering and mixing faster.
What to do in masters and what to avoid
in the mastering process red levels shuld be avoided and the master shuld stay under 1 as this regulates the volume.
What I changed in production
the compressor
I have used a compressor on the vocal takes to get a more consitant sence of dynamics in the final track. I have compressed the audio to the consistancy of -6 DB. This allows me to make the track sound more profeshnal. This shuld give a mor rock orentated sound to the instrments to.
what have i used it on
I have used compretion on all of the vocal track, two drum tracks (kick and snere) and bass guitar
Reverb
I have used reverb on many tracks to keep the song in line with the original. I have applied reverb in a small room to replicate the room that evrything was recorded in. I did this by changeing the wet to around -20 to -24 dB
