I chose this piece because it’s something i’ve recently learnt how to play for my GCSE grade.
I think that the beat played was successful because it fills in lots of spaces in the song where not much is going on.
the tempo I played at needs work because I kept drifting in and out of time with the song and got frustrated when it happened.
next time I could improve the tempo I played at to keep in time with the song and also hit some notes I missed at the start.
I could improve next time by using a metronome in my headphones to keep in time with the song and I need to wrk on my posture.
a target i want to work towards is playing at the correct tempo of the song and playing fluidly within the pieces i preform
another target is to show more detail whilst explaining points talked about in the evaluation of the next music pieces worked on
another target would to be able to play certain fills that I struggled with learning to start with.
