this is my Introduction to project 3 which is studio recording and using software such as logic for mixing and mastering to then release it for the public. we have 5 weeks to achieve this
we’re going to be recording drums bass and guitar using the live room and the control room to help with this process due to it already being set up for recordings.
SMART TARGETS:
specific: my specific target is to learn how to play the guitar in time with the metronome to make sure the whole song stays in time.
measurable: this is measurable because I’ll know if its in time or not due to playing to click and if I fall out of time I can hear it.
achievable: this is achievable because I practice with a metronome at home and in college when rehearsing
relevant: this is relevant because I don’t achieve this target the whole recording process could be compromised due to my bad timing.
time-bound: I hope to achieve this target by the end of the recording process of project 3 which is is in the next week.
specific: my specific target is to be time efficient within my course work for this project to make sure its done for the deadline.
measurable: this is measurable due to the fact I’ll know if I’ve achieved this because I’ll get a message from my tutor saying otherwise.
achievable: this is achievable due to me forcing myself to stay focused and taking short breaks if needed to reduce stress and I’ll know I have achieved this when I submit my work on the deadline.
relevant: this is relevant because if I don’t achieve this I’ll fail the project and won’t be able to progress through the rest of the year.
time-bound: I look to accomplish this by the end of project 3.
specific target: my specific target is to mix and master my project for release to the public.
measurable: this is measurable by finishing the recording process and tracking my progress through the mixing and mastering process.
achievable: this is achievable due to help from lewis in lessons with his experience with mixing and mastering so I can make it to the best of my ability.
relevant: this is relevant due to it being a major part of project 3 and also adding to my grade.
time-bound: I hope to accomplish this by the end of project 3 and have it released by the start of project 4.
