P5 Promo Shots

This page shows the final promo shots that were taken by a photography student. When taking these photos we used my pre planned tables that gave us some direction of what we wanted to do before hand, then with direction from the photographer student, we were able to broaden my ideas into something that truly represented me and the brand I was trying to convey.

We went out during the day for some of the shots and used a canon EOS R100, which we decided would be best because of its affordable price, lightweight design, and because its auto focus is very good in a variety of lighting conditions. We also used some cheaper digital cameras, but I wasn’t happy with many of the results so decided to not use those shots for this project, but could always use them in the future.

We also went out at night so we could play around with lighting abit more, these made some interning, more urban style shots. I also wore a leather jacket witch framed the urban style a lot more and I was happy with the results.

This is one of the photos we took on the cheaper digital camera, I like this one because it’s a plain background, with a very relaxed natural pose, the lighting is also dark and ads an air of mystery. But it doesn’t show much character or personality, and it came out quite blurred.

This shot is playful and has loads of character, it will draw attention to the song it’s promoting.

I like this one because it has a playful and flirtatious nature, with matches some of the lyrics in the songs.
