For my final project I chose to produce 2 original songs, learning new techniques that would aid my journey -from pre-production to post-production- such as gaining confidence on industry standard DAWs, building vocal chains, compression strategy’s, cleaning noise, eq carving, and file management, which is critical when recording a lot of rough demos.
I have researched into many different arias such as promo shots, studio safety, setting up equipment, mixing and mastering, successful reliese of music, and many more that will help me on my next educational steps.
Production is an extremely important part of recording and releasing new music. And with the estimated increase of the music production market to increase by twenty-seven billion two hundred six million eight hundred forty thousand over the next 10 years, it shows that although the industry is changing, its not ending, and its important to stay up to date with new technology and continue learning about it.
Most of the skills required in this project, I have learnt from previous projects, like project and . but this project is allowing me to explore these interests further.
