The purpose of this podcast was to contemplate on how artificial intelligence has, is and will affect music in all of our lifetimes. I chose this specific topic because it is the one I believe will have the biggest effect on mine and my peers future prospects, meaning I will relate to it and bring forward an opinion that matters. In this evaluation I will contemplate on the success of my pre-determined goals and what I would want to change or improve on if I was to produce another podcast episode.
The format of this podcast was more of a documentary style, given the topic and main themes I felt this writing style worked well and resulted in a coherent podcast. There were times where I felt bored while writing in this style however. In retrospect I would have more enjoyed writing and recording in a less formal format that comes across more of a discussion. I could have done this by finding a co-host to collaborate with on the podcast and loosely writing the podcast, focusing on main topics rather than planning every word.
During my researching phase, i found my self being led down very specific unverified scientific research papers which I followed more as fact. This can come with risks when not stated properly and destroy the reputation that people who film podcasts in the same style build over years of work.
I found that I felt confused, misunderstanding different deadlines and phases of production which resulted in being late for the said deadlines.
