MINDMAP of My General Ideas for my FMP. This is a mini map of my brief ideas which i want to convert into a concept for my FMP project.

This little video was recorded by a tutor in college. i have uploaded this on youtube. this is to evidence when i presented my pitch to the class. through this video the audience will be able to see how i presented my pitch, my level of confidence and communication and to can see if i know what I’m talking about.

Research

This survey I made is to gather information. I sent this survey to 10 people. the reason was that with this secondary research I would get a look into different choices and what things appeal to most of the audience and what pushes away audiences and how can I link these statics to my project to engage more people.

A Mood Board for me to consider the colour Range that I could use in my short film to attract my audience.

These are references I want to use in my following project for my characters.

This mood board is an idea and a collection of where I might want the setting of my short film to be and what things I might want to add in the background of my animation gifs.

I analysed this show because I am wanting to make links from my project to this show and understand the different shots, the different engaging skills, how they interact with the audience so i can use it in my FMP.

Pre-Production

This is a example of one of the drawing I drew, whilst practising how to draw a girl animation figure for the main character of our animation which we are planning to make digitally.

This is a little Mind map for my FMP about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that I personally felt me and my team had with this project. which then was turned into a little conversation of how we going to get better and how we are going overcome our challenges and threats.

Story Board for the FMP. This storyboard was produced by my team, it is to show what is going to happen in each stage of our story, it is to give the narrator and the production team a visual imagination in their mind of what is going to happen in the story. For Example in the first box there is a drawing of Florida walking into school. As well as this once usually the storyboard is made it is easier for the script to be written.

Production

Our Main Character for our Animation Gif made by team

This is the animated character versions of the boy which will turn into the prince and the girl who will turn into a ninja.

For our gif background assets we were thinking how are we going to show that they are at school. so we decided to create a locker for the background when our characters are facing each other.

This is evidence of how we slowly slowly created the ogre for our gif. The before and after transformation. When creating this ogre we had saved it on another pc so had to re-create this ogre with a new look.

Finally finished our animation characters now going to transform them into gifs.

Our Peer Assessments

Evidence of me shooting and capturing scenes for my short film project

I was capturing footages, On a Nikon Camera given by Bradford college central media team, of Romesa Parvez (Narrator + Actor) reading our story which we produced for our short film. We were faced with a few problems, but we were happy and tired by the end. I feel like we could of took much better footages if we had more time as well have some still footages without the camera wobbling if we had a tripod that worked. First we faced the problem of the greenhouse which we had decided we were going to film in be changed into a office so was no longer allowed to film in there, I had not been able to get one of performing art students for this production as they were unavailable, I made one of my student friends help me out however she had a certain time limit as she had class. Then we found a place, made it look good and tried setting things up. then we realised the tripod doesn’t work and we had no time to give it back. However we were happy at end and was a day to be remembered.

Post-Production

This is my intro for my short film called Florida’s Book. For this I used After effects and I am really happy of the outcome of this video. The effect of this magic dust coming out the story book was produced by me.

My Intro Evidence

Official Short Film Poster produced by my team, really happy with the look of the background behind Florida. Also really happy of how they made Florida’s both side the front of the poster. Her self v/s how she imagines herself.

My Outro for Florida’s Book made on After effects and uploaded on YouTube. Could of made the Outro a bit longer so the ‘imagination fights fears’ logline and ‘the end’ stays on the screen longer. But I love the background that I used and the way I kind of made the text dance when going up on the screen with the names of the director, narrator etc.

My Journal

This block here is where you will see a reflective journal for nearly every day of my work. Which includes all the positives and negatives I faced in a day and how I challenged them and how and what I did in a day and how I scheduled by day and made sure things were completed by me and my team.
