1. What was the main focus of today’s rehearsal, practice, performance or project session?
The main focus in today’s rehearsal was to catch Sam up with the drum songs and get through at least 1 full song with all of us knowing what our part is and being able to play it smoothly together
2. What was your most significant contribution?
I contribute strong guitar rhythm and lead while helping the band keep focus, communication, and helping with their timing and instruments if they are struggling.
3. What did you learn, improve or realise today?
I learned that we are going to need to practice at home to be able to make progress in the next session as progress was too slow today. I improved my knowledge of all the songs structures and now have a better idea of how they go now.
4. What was the biggest challenge or difficulty you encountered?
The biggest challenge I encountered with today was trying to get the band to stay focused on the task we set off to do. They have a habit of not doing any thing until I speak up and I think we would make better progress if instead of waiting for me or someone else to say something and get every one started just make sure your self is ready and then make your readiness known to the group so we can get on.
5. Did you complete the target you set last time?
• Not Completed! Since last session we had tutor lewis on drums which helped us make progress on the harder songs so for this session I planned to get Hey! down and finished with the band so we don’t have to worry too much about all songs at the same time.
6. What is one specific thing you will do before the next session?
I plan to make sure I have the all the lead parts down for Hey! and Wet by the next rehearsal session.
