We have an awesome, free, half-term music project running that will include guest workshops, collabs & a studio session too.

Guest workshops include composer Angela Chan (Lanterns on the lake/Placebo) & Chloe Pensavalle (Annex Agency).

Paid Performance Opportunity in Cafe Liza

There is a paid performance opportunity at the cafe across the road from college. It will take place on a Wednesday lunch on either 22nd or 29th Nov. You will need at least a 10-15 mins set (3 songs). It will be acoustic only. Can perform as solo, duo or trio and share money between you. Young Musician Opportunity

Are you a young musician or composer in Bradford or Leeds? Are you an instrumentalist, rapper, producer, any kind of musician aged 12 to 19, Grade 4 and above? Then this could be for you. All cultures, genres and styles are welcome and encouraged. We are offering you the opportunity to collaborate and create with other young musicians, guided by mentors, to make an original piece of music. The final track will be professionally recorded and you will create a music video. Your music will be arranged for brass band, rehearsed and performed in Bradford and Leeds in February 2024. If you think you’ve got what it takes to join YCC – Bradford & Leeds.

Everything is Possible is looking for 18-25yo volunteers to help us keep Leeds Festival environmentally friendly and promote recycling.
This volunteering experience gives volunteers the chance to have access to the festival for free.

General Assistant – Bradford

Job summary

Working on QM Records in Bradford assisting on executing music events and music releases.

Working remotely, providing admin support for MOVES Festival, Bradford to take place in June 2023.

Also working on other music events in Bradford in 2023.

Assisting on music releases (PR, Social Media, Playlisting), Events (Working closely with acts and venues).

Liaising with current brand partners, venue partners, community partners.

Researching and connecting with future  partners.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications

Looking for an ambitious individual based in the Bradford area. No experience needed,

all training will be provided. This person must be a proactive person with good attention to details.

This candidate must be very good at multitasking and cool under pressure.

They must have good communication skills with both members of the team and external contacts.

Must be extremely organised and not afraid to take initiative.

They must be friendly and approachable and remain calm when faced with competing demands.

They should be able to deal with the ebbs and flows of the work patterns. They must be able to commit to work tasks, take ownership of their own work, but also be able to ask for help when it’s needed,  and listen to and take direction. They must have an interest in working in music / creative industries. They must show sensitivity in working with vulnerable people and have a commitment to equality and inclusivity.
