MOOD-BOARDS

RESEARCH

I created a Questionnaire to get a idea of much my class knows so I can contribute the information they lacking on and wanting to know. https://forms.gle/Cigi5wQ5kEwcDfkZ6

Pre-Production

4 NOV’ 2022 – We were given a checklist to visualise where we are. Do due some issues I have fallen a bit behind so I am creating my own deadlines and checklists to make sure I’m catching up

I have created a checklist with deadlines to make sure I am on track and make sure that I am getting the project completed before the major deadline.

PRODUCTION

Footage taken for my documentary

EVIDENCE

04 Nov’ 2022Receiving denials from all the foodbanks I have contacted in the last few days; it has made me rush down and rethinking about the topic of this documentary, my passion is still there, but I cannot visualize what my end project is going to look like, I am still ready to pick up the risk to try something new.

With Paul I found the foodbank in Bradford college. Where it is controlled by the student union. The head of this food bank is called Graham Bailey. He has stated some good things in the article.   https://www.bradfordcollege.ac.uk/news/communities-given-a-helping-hand-news/

07 Nov’ 2022 – I have booked out a kit waiting for a reply from central media as I want to be able to get some Boll’s to be able to start editing the footage

I conducted a survey to be able to know how much my class knows and what information I should include in my documentary to make it educational for them.

08 Nov’ 2022 – I have completed my Pre-production schedule and will be re-checked before going for production.

10 Nov’ 2022 – In a good intention, I went to Broadway hub and asked if they had a card so I could email them for permission to record in Broadway, I did not want to do anything against their will.so they gave me this card.

So, I emailed this to Paul Holmes and asked if he could email them as I was outside trying to get a place to begin my shooting. Thankfully, Paul willingly emailed them for me.

Due to many rejections, to our understanding we needed to go to a place where everyone would be happy, but it did not belong to anyone. So started off by standing in the middle of town and getting footage of people walking by and we were recording the passing of cars going past and the area near foster square.

Looking at the footage I captured, I saw no connection with the cars and foodbank, so I decided to record food so emailed many businesses.

11 Nov’ 2022 – So, my duty was to first update Rebecca Walsh, so I emailed her. Hoping for a reply. She replied to me saying ‘Hi I am Free Tuesday morning if that helps.

I saw in the canteen there were students working and there was an email on the window.  I emailed them, asking if I can talk to them and record, if they do not reply by next week, I will try to get Paul to talk to them or I will talk to them face to face.

14 Nov’ 2022 – Good news from some food department Belgian Fries Bradford replied

15 Nov’ 2022 – Got a message from Rebecca on teams, she was a little unsure.

16 Nov’ 2022 – Took an interview for the documentary with Al. We went into a lister building into the common room, it was a lovely seating area and with great lighting with no noise.

Rebecca and Paul met and she explained the situation, so Paul tried helping me out and start contacting other staff and other foodbanks.

17 NOV’ 2022 – Re-thinking my documentary with all the footage I got so I can make it adjustment for the deadline that is this Friday 25th November.

This Screenshots taken whilst i was editing footage to combine a video for my documentary on the topic of ‘FOOD.’ This part was the most satisfying part of the project and most relieving part as a whole pressure of my shoulder has been removed.
