for our short scene we need to be focus and ready to perform on Monday for our assessment
once the final show as done I was really tired but it was worth it because I got to do what I like best doing musical theatre. Musical theatre is one of the genres of theatre that I would like to do all the time
doing this assessment before the holidays has helped me due to how much pressure that I was feeling I was full on stressing due to me thinking that it would be a rubbish show
for my practical skills i have used vocal and physical warmups to help me with this project and also i have been focused so hard on this project also I had to remember placements for dances and movement in the piece we did

I feel like I have a grafe of good in my project 2 assessment because I used all of my time with research and and also learning lines in my spare time
the first draft of the script the final song didn’t make sense so ollie had to rewrite it the song we originally had was the other side from the greatest showman when we were rehearsing it didn’t fir rhymical so we chose a musical from something rotten
this project was tough with staff and student illness and with jess hurting herself so we have to create the choreograph ourselves and i feel like we did well
we started to look at the script for the trail by jury which was made by the police museum for the hocus pocus the scare acting we watched the film on the Monday when we came back this year
we set the chairs out with the defendant sat on the same row with the defence and prosecution sat on the left but, when we went to the police museum with the defendant in the box
for the problem solving we rearanged the chairs and the jury was on the right
when we got the scripts we decided who was playing who the judge was at the front of the studio we had a few rehearsals every monday

the plot of Hocus Pocus is during the witch trails In 1693 three witch sisters Sara, winifred and Mary Sanderson kidnap a child called Emily Binx the sister of Thackery the sisters then drain the life force of Emily then Thun Thackery into a black cat live for eternity they put a curse saying when a virgo lights the black candle they will return they are later hung 300 years later in 1993 max with his sister Dani he light the back candle and they come back from the dead with the cats help they defeat the witched they can only survive for one night all hallows eve (halloween) they turn to dust and they die
the character Thai I will be playing is the cat Binx we will be at the light cinema 20 October a few weeks ago a third film was announced
Scare Acting
scare acting is a form of acting technique where actors scare the public there do this In several places like on a movie or tv sets, haunted houses, corn mazes. etc
the place that I am doing it at the light cinema which was opened in 2018 and has several branches across the uk
the Bradford police museum
the police museum which is also located in Bradford in the town hall this served as the police headquarters until the nelson street police station was built the old police station closed in 1971 and is rumoured to be haunted. the police museum has the old court houses near the holding cells

Hocus Pocus 2 is a prequel and a sequel to the original film that came out in the 1990s the second film starts in the past with sisters as young kids when Winniefred receives her book with the eye in the middle then the sisters are banished from the village present day two girls light the black candle and they return 29 years after max lit the candle billy returns as well the prequel-sequel was not good in my opinion nothing beats the original
the police museum continued
we went for a visit last week and I learned so much about the history of the museum and all of the people who were tried and found guilty and who died in Bradford we were in a cell with a lot of names on the walls
