I can make an advert for a T-shirt I made, I plan to make it over the top and I’ll probably throw in some hijinks.

To be honest, I’ve no idea what the forth Idea is. I’d probably find a movie that I really enjoy or a movie that I really hate and try to ‘fix it’ by poking fun at the more contrived parts of the movie.

Context and Practical Skills
My main idea is to do my own spin on a horror film more specifically my own spin on a David F. Sandberg horror short. It won’t be very long, only about 1 minute or so. It’ll take place in a single space so it’s very self contained and intimate. Leaving room for suspense and horror. Also, there won’t be any chance of damage to the actors or equipment.
I plan to spice it up by focusing more on foley as that is one of the best way to make the horror short standout. I’ll only really need myself and another person as the actors. I will also be a camera operator and the editor. I am thinking of using the make up department for one practical element which I want to be high quality, it will be a latex monster hand. The only challenge that I can think of is the lighting. I have an idea of how I would like the lighting to be but putting that into practice might be a difficult.
Challenges
I believe lighting to be my largest challenge as I’ll be using minimal lighting
Shot composition will also be difficult as my room is rather small, so certain shots will be a pain

Self Evaluation
The location is quite limiting, literately so. The room is very small so I’m planning to make the most of the space. Utilising almost any and all free space I have available e.g shelfs used as make shift camera stands. The limited crew is down to the fact that I’m not too confident and don’t want to disrupt anyone else’s productions. Despite this I have the help of my brothers, all of whom are perfectly willing to help. Personally I find the challenge of using a restrictive location and limited crew as something fun. I need to include a timeline to allow a better and clearer plan for when and what I’ll be filming and doing. This will help me plan out the days for filming and my brothers can plan accordingly.
