Self-Assessment:
Context – Good – I believe I provided a lot of reasons as to why I wanted to do this project, and how it is relevant to the industry and my future in higher education.
Research – Good – I did a good amount of research. However, when completing my final project evaluation, I noticed points where I could’ve researched further and looked into the events industry in particular more.
Problem Solving – Excellent – Although I didn’t come across as many problems as I anticipated, I dealt with the ones that did occur in a calm and professional manner.
Planning and Production – Excellent – My planning and organisation of this project was one of the key reasons to its success. I planned my time very carefully and stuck to a routine, maintaining a great balance between college and independent study.
Practical Skills – Excellent – I believe I have shown great skills in many different aspects, from leadership, graphic design and skills within my instrument, and even trying new skills such as photography.
Evaluation and Reflection – Excellent – Although I chose to move away from weekly evaluations, I believe this helped me evaluate my work more thoroughly and consistently. In my final project evaluation, I looked at all aspects of my project and evaluated what went well and what could’ve been better.
Presentation – Excellent – The final showcase, as well as all of the posters and programmes turned out much better than I imagined. A lot of positive feedback was received regarding all aspects of the showcase.
I confirm that the attached assessment is all my own work and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself and sources have been appropriately referenced.
