The Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology
is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study or employment in the
media sector. They provide an opportunity for those who have an interest in media to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure that is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to more specialised study.

On Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology, you will have the opportunity to develop and apply the skills necessary for a range of digital and creative disciplines, including:

Equipment & Resources

Central Media are located on the 2nd Floor of the David Hockney Building, in front of the TV Studio. The team at Central Media are responsible for holding and leasing all media equipment including Photography Cameras, Film Cameras, Microphones and Tri-Pods.

The TV Studio & Edit Suites

The TV Studio is located on the 2nd floor of the David Hockney Building. The TV Studio is complete with a multi-cam system, green screen and a gallery for vision mixing, lighting controls and sound production. You must be accompanied by a member of staff when working from the TV Studio. If you require the TV Studio for your project, please speak to your lecturer who can arrange this with Central Media.

The Edit Suites are situated behind the Central Media Desk, near the TV Studios. Edit Suites are quiet work places for students who want to edit a project independently. If you would like to reserve an edit suite, outside of class time – speak with Central Media who will help you to book an edit suite.

The Mac Suites on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Lister Building are also complete with the Adobe Package. You may use these outside of class time, when sessions are not taking place in these spaces.

A little word of warning: As a Creative Media practitioner, you are expected to use all equipment and college spaces responsibility. Any student who does not treat equipment and college resources with respect will be subject to the appropriate disciplinary procedures and may have access to equipment and classrooms revoked.

Submission Guidelines: You must publish your portfolio of evidence for this project on your Bradford College Digital Space page before 16:00pm on the due date. Evidence relating to each task must be published on your portfolio. You are encouraged to submit evidence in a variety of formats, such as image, video and audio. You will be given advice regarding the structure of your portfolio by your tutor; however, the presentation of your portfolio is your own discretion. You must submit the evidence required for all the tasks indicated. You must apply for a meeting with the course leader in advance of the deadline to arrange a resubmission date. The resubmission will also be capped at the minimum pass grade (satisfactory).
