On successful completion of this module you will be expected to be able to:
1. Identify and explain the working practices and methods involved in the pre-planning and pre-production processes.
2. Demonstrate an effective contribution to a creative team and collaboratively support pre-production for a tv/film production scenario.
3. Explain the relationship between script, design concept, budget and the implementation of production processes for a film and/or TV production (s)
4. Describe and discuss the importance of working as part of a creative and technical production team in the context of a film and/or tv production.
Portfolio and Journal/blog should contain the following:
Evidence that you developed your pre-production skills for film and television productions. Your clear contribution to a creative team and evidence that you collaboratively supported the pre-production for a tv/film production scenario.
Communicate production decisions effectively to peers and your tutor(s) ·
Through exploration, identify a range of different leadership techniques you used
Realise an approach that demonstrates collaboration, team work and creativity.
Demonstrate use of industry standard processes · Review and reflect on your management decisions
