in these videos I played the guitar for a cover of mercy by Duffy.
it was a new way of playing a different style of music I wouldn’t normally go for still pretty fun though I kept rhythm and the chords were clear enough for the first few attempts
I could work on keeping focus on the instrument and making sure it is as good as I can get it
I need to work on my mistakes evaluate what was wrong and make a change so these mistakes don’t happen I could use a bit more practice with the band so we can help each other to keep time and keep things tight
we did well as a whole we could work on our timing and the and listen more to the original.
I know I can do better with a few practice runs I am closer to getting it clean and sounding nice with the timing of the pedal I have recently been shown a new way of playing the song a lot better than before
as a band we are now working a lot smoother with each other and getting used to playing as a band to is a pretty good feeling when we get it perfect the only thing we need to do is capture these good runs on video that way in future we can look back and improve even more to reach the full potential that we possibly can
it was a pretty bad day our mood was bad we wasn’t used to the room or the instruments but atleast it gives us something to work on.
we ran through all 3 songs back to back and I personally think it went very well . Everyone was in time and didn’t hit a wrong beat . I meat up some words but other than that it went well I’d say . I hope it goes like this for the gig .
