I need to learn and study how to use the pedal and how it all works to sort volume differences while the pedal is on and when it is off. This would be useful to me in many different ways when it comes down to guitar tones and really getting the most out of my pedal.I can do this by looking on the internet taking notes and putting them into practice or I could ask around guitarists who know how to use and take tips off of them all would be useful.
I could work on engaging with the band and moving around a lot more I should do the same with the audience more as well I just need to practice without looking at the frets all the time. This would be useful to make it look like I’m actually enjoying my self.To improve this I was thinking about walking to the front off the stage to
What was out of my control was the sound mixing and making sure the sound is all good but this wasn’t the case in this performance but hopefully in the actual performance this is all sorted out so the stuff that is not in our control works smoothly. If not sorted it could really throw the band off time and mess up a part of the performance.
I messed up a couple times on zombie due to the pedal and people in charge of sound it didn’t work well together and made the guitar squeal and throw me off so that could be fixed for next time as well.I also messed up on a pretty fly for a white guy verse but I quickly just improvised over to go into the chorus.
SMART TARGETS
I need to make sure I check my sound on the monitors. I can do this by having dums, bass and singer in my monitors
I need to make sure I have good stage presence I can do this by making sure I engage with the band and come to the front of the stage during my solo.
