This project is about writing and producing music, to learn production and music theory to help in our productions in the future. I have been wanting to learn about this for a long time I’ve aways wanted to learn howe to make my own songs as this is something I would like to turn into a career. One day I want to write songs to write lyrics and to perform them to people all around the world I want to be the kind of artist that never stops making music even when I’m older like Paul Weller he was making music In bands from about 16 years old and he still bringing out new songs and he is 66 now he’s only just released a new album.I also don’t want to just stick to one style of music I want to be able to learn all kinds of different music to see what I can take from them and try into my own with inspiration from loads of styles of music .
I started trying to make music when I was young before guitar it was drums and I would never stop trying to come top with something new. something that would just shock the world but I never had the music knowledge or drive to continue but then I started learning guitar I have been playing for a year and a few months and I have learnt so much that could help me do what I have always wanted To do in life which is write and create and produce my own my music.
A while ago I started listening to some blues music and came across an artist called Stevie Ray Vaughan and I started looking some of his music it instantly caught my eye after hearing it I’m not exactly sure how you get that good but wow I want to be able to play some of those songs. Pride and joy, mary had a little lamb and couldn’t stand the weather these are the songs I like the most from what I have come across so far.
I came across this video whilst looking at some of Stevie’s performances and I can’t even describe what I saw it was insane it was a video of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Healey trading solos I haven’t looked into this Jeff guy but I think every one should see that video.
