evaluation

for my evaluation, I think I did really well. I started by brainstorming ideas—at first, I considered focusing on pop music, like Michael Jackson, but then I decided to narrow down to guitar history. Once I chose that, I really dove into research, tracing the guitar’s evolution from early instruments like the lute and oud all the way to modern guitars. I explained different types—Les Pauls, Stratocasters—and I broke down their pickups, designs, and tones. After writing the script, I moved into the recording phase: I used an XLR mic setup, added backing tracks from YouTube, and included a still image to accompany the audio. I took photos of each step and documented the whole process.

In the second part of the project, I really paid attention to problem-solving. I ran into a few challenges—like syncing the audio perfectly and making sure the pacing stayed consistent—so I adjusted the timing, smoothed out transitions, and wrote about each step I took. Overall, I think my attention to detail, the structure of my script, and the way I documented everything really paid off. I’m really happy with how it all turned out, and I feel confident moving on to my final project.
