After weeks of preparation, this was our chance to prove our practice and dedication towards this performance.
To say we did Excellent is an overstatement, We did pretty good at staying in time and matching our skill level had in the practice rooms in our college, especially when it was really cold at the time we had to perform which was in the early morning around 10:30am.
songs we played- on our gig we played 5 songs that we had. practiced over the last month and a half. the songs were:
Rocketman- Elton John
War Is Over- John Lennon
Some- Steve Lacy
Go Your Own Way- Fleetwood Mac
Vehicle- The Ides Of March
this gig was for our community project and we performed in the Norwood house Care-home in Keighley.
the temperature was freezing that day and we had to play outside so
at the the start while we were setting up the mics and speakers, cables etc we started to lose feeling in our fingers which is never good for a musician live.
21st of December college Christmas gig.

the timing was good, the song ended quite adruptly.
Go Your Own Way- Fleetwood Mac

Our best song we played that day In my opinion was Go your own way, which was the fourth song we played. I think this because the whole band was in time most of the time and the dynamics were pretty good. I think having Oliver singing this song was a good choice as he has strong vocals. all of this paired with me and Jacob ( the other backing singer who sings in the choruses) sounded amazing.
