I will use various sources to reference and gather knowledge from, this will include primary research such as surveys, conversations with avid gamers, investigation of the games myself, I can conduct interviews with people who may know more than I do, i could also read books of which may bring the topic up in greater detail, making comparisons between the companies (charts ect.)
The secondary research I may conduct could include things such as Youtube, reading articles, reading charts, investigating said companies websites etc, the majority of my secondary research will be conducted digitally due to the nature of the question, (being about games which are usually digital)
The main research types i will be using will be using will be company websites, articles, Youtube, surveys, interviews, blogs and statistics, I have chosen these specific methods as i believe that they are the most likely to yield useful and insightful results.
I intend to conduct interviews with various different people, asking them both open and closed questions about several games studios, games and the game industry a whole, this will help me understand as to why people may or may not hate the companies and games, these questions will mention things such as monetisation (micro-transactions), advertisement, production, ethical issues also.
