Roles I Took On 16/01/2023
On Monday we went to the Studio to try out different roles. We did this to see which ones best suited us and which took to our strengths. In doing so I found that I really enjoyed the following:
- Directing – Being in charge of the vision and creative side I personally gave Henry a piece of paper that had talking prompt to help the flow of conversation and so that they can talk about things that I had in mind.
- Camera Operating – I as well as a few other people were in charge of managing the movements and placements of the cameras, we also had to listen to what the director wanted.
- Talent – I as well as the co host had to think up talking points, talk and give are opinions on popular figures
- Autocue – In charge of the autocue, which is the moving script
- Vision mixer – In charge of changing and swapping cameras.
- Motion Graphics Design – Makes the moving graphics, e.g: fun fact pop ups, name tags, location tags and any other visual effect asset.

This is the first design was made by Bailey. Bailey is currently making this the shows’s introduction We changed the name of the show from FJaam News to The Star Show as you can see, in the image above, Maya also worked on a design (the one below)
This is Maya’s design.
I made mine just to see what I could make. So I really don’t mind if the team doesn’t end up using mine, I also wasn’t the motion graphics person Bailey is so that’s fine.
