{"id":1469,"date":"2022-12-15T09:44:51","date_gmt":"2022-12-15T09:44:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/music\/?p=1469"},"modified":"2022-12-15T09:44:51","modified_gmt":"2022-12-15T09:44:51","slug":"incredible-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/music\/2022\/12\/15\/incredible-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Incredible Opportunity!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We\u2019re thrilled to be partnering with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brightersound.com\/get-involved\/a-week-with-nubya-garcia\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brighter Sound<\/a>&nbsp;to host a once-in-a-lifetime music residency led by award-winning and critically acclaimed saxophonist and composer,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nubyagarcia.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nubya Garcia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emerging artists can now apply to work with Nubya over four days, with a live performance on the final evening. During the week, Nubya will share her experiences and knowledge of playing live, touring, releasing music, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The residency will take place in Bradford between 27th-30th March 2023, with online workshops before and after.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brightersound.com\/get-involved\/a-week-with-nubya-garcia\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Applications are now open until 11pm on Monday 30 January 2023.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Week with Nubya Garcia is open to women and people of marginalised genders as part of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brightersound.com\/about\/initiatives\/all-things-equal\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">All Things Equal<\/a>&nbsp;initiative.
