Beyond Brontes – 2022

In case you’ve not heard, recruitment for the next cohort of Beyond Brontës: The Mayor’s Screen Diversity Programme is now open – with an increased number of places available.

It’s a training scheme which can boast an amazing record, with 73% of trainees finding work in the creative industries after graduation.Trainees have gone on to work on shows like Bridgerton, The Witcher, Gentleman Jack, and Mission Impossible 7!

Applications are open until 12 noon on 18th May, via the link below.It’s free, part-time training initiative, which aims to boost diversity in the screen industries by breaking down the barriers which can prevent young people from finding work in film and TV.

It’s open to people aged between 18-30, based in the five districts of West Yorkshire.

It’s also well-timed, with so many of your courses about to come to an end.

Modules include industry masterclasses, CV and interview workshops, mentorships, and tailored one-to-one support from our dedicated team.Where possible, the programme also connects with local productions and TV and film companies to offer placement opportunities.
