A podcast name doesn&#8217;t have to relate to the topic of conversation at all as long as it captures the listeners attention and peaks interest -Frank Racioppi, Feb 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After looking at the <a href=\"https:\/\/podcastcharts.byspotify.com\">Spotify podcast charts<\/a> some Successful podcast names are- Crime Junky, Cents of Humour, <em class=\"pc\" style=\"white-space: normal;, Times, serif;font-size: 20px;letter-spacing: -0.06px\">Omnishambles<\/em>. Out of the names I discovered, I favoured the ones which had a connection to the topic of the show. The name <strong>New Wave <\/strong>was the one I landed on due to it being, simple and memorable, as well as giving an indication on what the topic will be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;New Wave&#8217; has connotations of music with the music genre also called &#8216;New Wave&#8217;. It also links to change with the word &#8216;New&#8217; witch means &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oed.com\/dictionary\/new_adj?tab=meaning_and_use#34701338\">not existing before<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A podcast name is the listeners first interpretation of one&#8217;s work, this is what makes a memorable name so important.
