Writers Block: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n During the songwriting phase, i found myself struggling to create lyrics that matched the emotions i wanted to convey. After researching<\/a> into what professional songwriters do i realised i had to keep on writing until i found lyrics that worked for me and that i liked. When you do something everyday it helps a writer get into a flow and makes it easier to write from a natural place and keep a “creative groove”<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Recording Problems: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n During the recording phase i encountered some issues that i have not faced during previous projects. luckily i briefly researched into them before hand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n One issue that i faced was background noise since i wasn’t always recording in acoustically treated studio environments. To solve this, i adjusted microphone gain and tried moving my microphone to different points in the room where room noise was at its lowest. I also recorded multiple takes using the swipe comping feature on logic, this allows me to record the same thing multiple times and pick wich parts i want to keep. I can also Improve slight noise issues in post by using eq to reduce frequencies that cause muddiness or harshness, you could also apply a noise gate to cut out quieter signals, capture a “noise print” of pure background static to subtract it, or just manually delite dead air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n the main issue that could have arouse as a result of poor marketing is low audience engagement.
