I would also have the opportunity to collaborate with others in recording, mixing, arranging, and building tracks. Production combines creative and technical skills like learning software, microphones, plugins, DAWs, editing, etc. wich will give me a better opportunity to learn new things that will be used in further studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Performance<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Performance would help me increase my confidence and stage presence while allowing me to improve as a musician, however I realised I was more interested in the creative process behind recording and producing music rather than performing live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Marketing<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marketing interests me because it aims to help artists reach audiences. I considered leaning into a solely marketing project, where I would realise music I have already made but decided I would enjoy elements of musical creativity throughout this course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Event organisation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organising a music event would have helped develop my planning and communication skills, but I wanted more creative involvement in this project and wanted to focus on pursuing music my self. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Song writing<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Song writing appealed to me because it focuses on story telling, creativity, and emotion. Ive always enjoyed developing lyrics and melodys and wanted song writing to be a part of this project, but not the main focus. So I decided to use songs I&#8217;ve written in the past and develop them further through the production phase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Evaluation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After researching and exploring these different options, I decided I wanted a mix of song writing, production, and marketing. So I chose to produce and show clear planning of a successful release strategy off 2 original songs.
