Reflection 1.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

8th January- 12th January 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday and Wednesday we learned why vocal warm ups are useful and we did a lesson with screen Yorkshire they taught us some screen acting terms and they taught us how the cameras work and helped us film our pieces and taught us how to direct which is a skill that I hadn\u2019t already learned before this project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My challenges are sitting in front of a camera and having my face on a camera.
My targets are to not look at the camera, finish all course work and be confident.
I will do this by staying on track and working hard and without looking at myself through the cameras when im on screen in that moment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has helped me develop as a performer by teaching my what it\u2019s like to do camera acting as this is one of the jobs you can go for in the industry.
This is preparing me for the industry because It is giving me a bit of experience in front of the camera and making me more comfortable in front of the camera. It is also giving me more experience on how to do deal with the camera being on me and what to expect if I got a job that involved working on a tv set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflection 2.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

15th January -19th January 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with Steph we practiced our script and with Sarah we went into the tv room and filmed our scripted scenes and got taught how to work behind the camera. With Jess we did audition pieces for the scripted scenes we\u2019re doing for the experience.

This has helped me develop as a performer by teaching me how to work behind the camera and teaching me how auditions work.
This is preparing me for the industry because it has given me a bit for experience on set work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My target is to know all my lines by Friday. I will do this by practicing over and over again using the look, cover, speak method. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflection 3. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

29th January- 2nd February 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Sarah we did some focus exercises and learned why it\u2019s important to have focus as soon as you walk into the studio. We then practiced our scripted pieces and spoke about what camera angles we should use and where. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then performed the piece on Wednesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has helped me develop as a performer because it has shown me how the filming process works and shown me how to be patient.
