Section 1: Rationale.
My skills are teamwork, communication, time management, problem solving, adaptability, memorisation and the ability to work independently.
So far I have learned how to do the production element. When I did sound I learned how to find sound effects and where to put them. I learned a lot about the performing arts industry like being on time, how to use film cameras, how auditions run and how the tv industry works.
I knew a bit about the industry before I started the course however I have now improved my dance skills and improved my acting skills. I can also tell the difference between different types of auditions and I know how they all run differently. I can also tell the difference between stage acting and tv acting as I can see that tv acting is more realistic and not as out there as stage acting.
Section 2: Project concept.
The project is Peter Pan except the level 3 extended have wrote the script and are going to teach us the play.
I want to be Peter Pan, Wendy, Smee or Micheal because I noticed that these people have either a song or some singing lines and I want to push myself to sing in front of people as my confidence isn’t there at all for my singing however I don’t mind being anyone else I just want to really push myself to help my confidence.
I am suitable for these roles because when I show up to class i do what I’m supposed to do, I try my best and I listen and speak when I’m supposed to. I go home and learn my lines do my coursework and work on dances when I need to.
The production role I want is stage management or vocal or physical warmup because it’s more about leadership and I would like to be more confident in my leadership skills.
I will achieve my end goals by working hard, putting the time and effort into this project and making sure I’m always in class on time, when I need to be and doing my best in class and at home.
Section 3: Evaluation.
I Will monitor my development through the process by writing down what we’ve done and what I’ve learned every lesson as soon as we’ve done the lesson and write it up nicely in my reflection section of my scrapbook. I will also have videos of dances to put up in my scrap book. This will help me have better reflections and help me remember everything I’ve learned in one day.
