Sadly I couldn’t get photos of everybody’s costume, which i definitely need to make sure i do for future projects!
Set design:
Although I am not on the set and design team, I did help out quite a bit with building and painting set.

This is the Bridge that I painted for the Mama says scene and the almost paradise scene! I tried to fit as much poetry and graffiti about Bobby I could! I think I did a really good job at painting this bridge! I was very happy with the outcome.

This is the Burger Blast backdrop that we painted, we used inspiration from an 80’s diner! I helped to paint this quite a lot and I was very happy with the outcome of this backdrop too! It looked really good, and it fit in well with the musical as it was originally set in the 1980’s.

This is the church scene backdrop. I helped paint the windows for this backdrop and we took inspiration from churches with stained glass windows because we thought it would make the scene look more lively, to fit with all the songs and teenagers messing around in the church scene.
Dance warmups:

. Ability to speak on a professional level
. Wearing black clothes (uniform) all the time
. Being early to lessons
Creative process

3 things I could improve on:
. Being able to tell people when they are taking the mick
. Being able to communicate with people to resolve the problem (arguments)

Commitment and effort
3 things I’m good at:
. Giving it my all in warmups and normall class
. keeping my motivation up so i can perform to my best in lesson
. Going full out when others are not
3 things I could improve on:
. Keeping focus levels all lesson
.Not letting people distract me from acting when i’m in the background of scenes
. Make sure i’m not being late to lessons
These are all the things i need to improve on as a whole moving into the future. Overall, I think i did very well with leading dance warmups as it was my first time! I made sure to try and switch it up each lesson to try and make it less boring for everybody and to keep them engaged, I also put in place a rule which was, if somebody did not participate in the warmup they were not allowed to dance for the rest of the day. This was to prevent injuries from not warming up and stretching.
I also made a playlist for the warmups that I lead. I tried my best to make sure it was clean and appropriate for college, which was very challenging because they are not many upbeat songs that are appropriate these days.
