Christopher Nolan was born on 30 July 190. His father Brendon was a creative director and his mother Christina was an American flight attendant from Evanston Illinois but she would later work as an English teacher. He is the brother of James Nolan who now works in film production and Matthew Francis Nolan who was arrested for being accused of being a hitman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing up Nolan would borrow his dad’s super eight camera and make stop motion movies using action figures. In his teenage years Nolan started making film’s with American film producer and director Roko Belic like Tarantella(1989).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in English Literature Nolan would later direct a short film called Larceny which was filmed in black and white with limited equipment and a small cast and crew. Nolan filmed his third short film called Doodlebug which is about a man who seems to be chasing an insect with his shoe but discovers that it is a miniature version of himself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nolan’s first feature film (long film) was a film called the Following which follow’s the main protagonist called Jeremy Theobald who is an unemployed young writer who follows strangers around so that he can gather information for his first noval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nolan gained international recognition with his second film, Memento<\/a><\/em> (2000), for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay<\/a>.  His brother Jonathan pitched the idea to him, about a man with anterograde amnesia<\/a> who uses notes and tattoos to hunt for his wife’s murderer. Jonathan worked the idea into a short story, “Memento Mori<\/a>” (2001), and Nolan developed it into a screenplay that told the story in reverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nolan is know for making The Batman Dark Knight trilogy. Nolan wanted to create a universe to give the audience’s an experience of what batman could be like living in the real life world without the like’s of Superman or any other superheroes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nolan next directed, wrote and produced the science-fiction film Interstellar<\/a><\/em> (2014). The first drafts of the script were written by Nolan’s brother Jonathan Nolan, and it was originally to be directed by Steven Spielberg<\/a>. The film is about an astronaut called Cooper(played by Matthew McConaughey)who is part of a misson to help find a new home for humanity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nolan’s recent film Oppenheimer has got good praise by audiences. The ilm follows the story of real life American Physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and the making o the atomic bomb in his perspective. In a video Nolan talk ‘s about how cgi feels a bit too safe for him and how he prefers practical effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
