The short film is called There is always someone there and is about a girl called Rebecca who is going through depression after her father has passed away and is being bullied. She has a half brother called Ethan who was the result of Rebecca&#8217;s mum having an affair with her boss. Rebecca&#8217;s mum&#8217;s personality has changed after her husband died for she is strict towards Rebecca and has massive expectations of Rebecca. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She doesn&#8217;t listen to Rebecca&#8217;s side of the story when her half brother Ethan annoys her which leads to her retaliating for Rebecca&#8217;s mum tries to justify Ethan behaviour by making excuses like telling Rebecca that Ethan has got special needs and he is her younger brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rebecca is being harassed by a group of three bullies that enjoy bullying her and find great satisfaction and enjoyment in bullying her.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the ending of my short film the main character Rebecca is about to commit suicide but a staff member she likes called Mr Long puts his hand in Rebecca&#8217;s should showing us the audience that there is always someone to talk to for help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inspiration behind this short film come from a short film that follows themes of depression called I&#8217;m here too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/11721875\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/790\/2024\/02\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1014\" width=\"665\" height=\"941\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/11721875\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/790\/2024\/02\/image-7.png 572w, https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/11721875\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/790\/2024\/02\/image-7-212x300.png 212w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 665px) 85vw, 665px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My idea is to make a short film that follows follows themes of bullying and suicide.
