My Youtube video
For my Youtube project i made a video of me interviewing a student called Ashley Dunn that does acting for he has agreed to take part in my short film.
The reason why I decided to interview Ashley is because I like to do interviews and also because I have a Youtube channel that has a video of me doing my previous interview.
I used Capcut to edit my interview with Ashley because I found Capcut more easy rather then Premier pro and also Capcut does have some good effects that are free to use. However I have decided that if I am doing interviews, I am going to use Capcut to edit them but if I am making film’s I plan on editing them on Premiere Pro for one of my Creative Media teachers recommended that I use Premier Pro so that I get the best image quality.
What would i do differently?
I will next time try to bring a water bottle for I was struggling to ask my questions because I had a dry mouth. I will try not to rush my dialogues.
I am proud of my Youtube video because previously I kept on exporting versions of my video and the process took long but thankfully I was able to make a version of my video that I am happy with.
Another thing that I am proud of was planning my interview and writing my questions in my notebook.
I wasn’t able to include me asking all the questions to Ashley Dunn because when I edited my video for the first time and tried to upload it on Youtube, I was unable to upload it on Youtube because the video was to long so I decided to crop bits of my video that I decided were irrelevant.
Music
I have decided to put new music in my video for my intro and outro for the music I original used was called Brazil Samba which I found on a website where you can download free music called Ben-sound but afterwords I felt that the music didn’t fit well for my intro and outro so then I decided to use another soundtrack that I downloaded on Bensound called Jazzy French.

My logo
I made some previous logo designs using Adobe Illustrator.
At first I was going to keep this logo but then I started to experiment with other logo ideas on Canva.

When I was doing my presentation for my Youtube channel and my logo one of my Creative media teachers Kulvinder asked the students that were listening to my presentation which logo they like out of the two in the bottom. Most of the students picked the logo on the top so then I decided to combine the ideas for my two logos.
Final result
I also decided to experiment with Canva and make a logo that was similar to my previous logo but have purple inside the shape with text that was in different font.
I feel that it was really beneficial experimenting with other logo idea’s on Canva because I feel like I know how to use Canva and I feel confident in using Canva.
I preferred using Canva rather then using Adobe Illustrator because I found Adobe Illustrator hard to use whereas by Using Canva I fond it easy to use.
I have edited my logo on Canva by adusting the spacing of the letters and making the colors more vibrant.

I am going to make another version of my interview with Ashley Dunn, with my brand new logo that I have made using Canva but I will still keep the previous version of my interview for my Digital Space portfolio. The music that I will be using for my intro and outro is called Perception that I have downloaded from Bensound.
