I had to use my headphones near my phone mic because my amp isn&#8217;t working at the moment. I used techniques such as playing double kick , kick independence , hi hat foot and ghost notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-9-16 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"25 September 2025\" width=\"489\" height=\"869\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UhaRn6RxoIQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to improve on my kick independence to make more complex bass rhythms to my beats , I also need to improve my double kick technique speed and control and try get my timing perfect and be able to improvise drums better. I can track these things by playing to a metronome and making sure it sounds clean at the bpm I&#8217;m at and then slowly raise it. as for the bass drum ill be playing more beats with more complex kick patterns in. The other 2 things I&#8217;m working on right now is dynamics and my rudiments.
