1st lesson was on playing a shuffle.
I struggled with this at first and during my 20 mins practice after the lesson, but the next day I tried it and it just made sense to me now but I still struggle to go from shuffle to fill back to shuffle so that’s what I’m working on now.
I had another lesson on triplet fills which I got down during the lesson pretty much instantly. I then used the practice time in the room for practicing shuffle rudiments and kick independence.
