Research
To elevate this further I could examine more live versions paying attention to stage presence as well as performance techniques specific to the genres I’m covering. Additionally researching distinct techniques refried for the style I’m playing. As well as recording individual practices to show the progression of myself.
Planning and production
In future projects I could take a stronger role in guiding the group and ensuring my ideas are heard in rehearsals. This will then help the groups over all communications and we can put ideas together better. I will know this when we start to put ideas together and communicate effectively.
Practical skills
I should focus on tempo control and use a metronome. I can do this by playing as well as practicing sub divisions with a metronome. I will know this has helped when my timing is better when playing alone as well as others.
Evaluation
I should evaluate and reflect in more depth in my own and the groups areas of improvement.
