Yesterday in media makeup we had our assessment and we had to bring our own modals in an turn them into the criminal we choose. I chose peter Sutcliffe and my client was my dad. I started by cleaning the face and asked him if i could touch his face he said yes. I began by doing the beard first i used pros-aide as an adhesive so the hair would stick on his face. There was a couple of problems the hair colour i used was to light to match his real beard. so we had to come up with another way to make it darker i colourd it in with black eye shadow to create a sharper look. Peter Sutcliffe had jet black hair and a beard with to small circles on the chin, i created this by eye shadow. i also used a bruise wheel to create the black swollen eye and used eye shadow. The colours i used was purple, red, green and blue . I also used scar wax to create the scars and cuts on the face. I also used wound filler inside the scars and cuts to create a bloody effect and i also used fake blood to make it look like he had just hammered someone and it had sprayed on his face. I made his face look more dead by making the vails on the clients face stand out more i used a bruise wheel and eye shadow to create this effect. At the end i used setting powder to lighten the face to give it that dead effect. I used dirt to make the hands look dirty and blood to add to the effect of him with a hammer. The costume we used was an old prison shirt to make him look more like he was in prison.
