To start planning we first started off with blocking and staging deciding where I should enter and exit from. Since I’m the narrator I’m starting off the whole pantomime, which can be very nerve wrecking since pantomime can embarrass you in numerous amount of ways. My production role is costume and props, which is rather easy as everyone is taking care of their own costumes along with their props. For costumes Queen malevolent will be wearing a green dress with a purple cape and a crown, Snow-white will be wearing a normal snow-white dress similar to the ones in the movies, nurse-natter will be wearing a dress with a wig, Olly will be wearing a blue overall, the prince will be wearing a red coated suit with a crown, the mirror will be wearing a black dress with little crystals on them, the dwarfs will be wearing costumes that suit their names and personality, Keith will be wearing a Kilt to show the Scottish side of him and lastly the ensemble will be wearing all black. For props we are using a book for the narrator, flowers that Ollie will gift snow-white for her birthday, A box to place the fake heart in that the huntsman will handover to the queen, an apple that the queen will make snow-white eat and lunch boxes that snow-white will give to the dwarfs. For set ideas we could paint trees on wooden boards for the forest scenes, we could even make mini beds and a bunch of mini things for the dwarfs scenes, for snow-whites party we could add party banners and balloons showing that we are having a party. For lighting we could add red for all the dangerous and anxious moments, green lighting for the forest moments and disco lights for snow-whites party.
