pros: tiktok connects local artists and global audiences which means even if a piece has been on tiktok for decades the piece will eventually rise up.

cons: sometimes when you post a piece or a solo or band play it might not get that much views or likes that’s why you should try to make it catchy and look good so that people will stop scrolling and think ‘hold up a minute that might be interesting’.

YouTube

loads and loads of musicians use YouTube to promote basically everything thats going on about their music career because loads of people are on YouTube 24/7.

Pros: WideReach, YouTube has a large and diverse audience, making it a great platform for musicians to reach new listeners and expand their fan base. YouTube is a cost free musican promotion as it doesn’t cost anything to upload and share videos thats why loads of people use it.

Cons: Piracy, being on YouTube to promote your musician career means you get a chance to be exposed to piracy attacks. It becomes easy for people to download your album or songs leading to a loss for you meaning illegal copying or distribution of copyrighted music

You can post just about anything that’s relevant to music on Facebook so feel free to get creative. Shows effort how much your growing as a musician too.

Pros: Facebook is an effective way to reach new customers and grow your musicial career. With over 2.9 billion active users, Facebook offers a large and engaged audience for your musicial skills.

Cons: It can be expensive, media junk and not reaching the target audience.
