Project Evaluation

So far at college this has been my least favourite project by a mile. It was very lacklustre, none of us really knew what we were doing as we pretty much just got told to organize an event. Furthermore I didn’t even get to do my job as the sound guy, which honestly really disappointed me as I was looking forward to both doing it and the experience it would give me which I now haven’t received. This whole entire project, especially when I realized I wasn’t doing sound, I have just felt unmotivated and dissatisfied. This then affected the amount of digital space work I did and I became very behind on that, poor on my part and I take ownership and accountability for my shortcomings.

However the showcase night itself went very well I thought. I tried to help out with sound where I could, not operating the desk, and the performances all went well with little to no hiccups. Isobel and Kai did an amazing job at organizing everything and promoting it, which makes me feel worse as they have done all of this and I basically contributed nothing.

In the future my main focus is going to be actually doing my digital space work and not falling very behind on it because that is unacceptable on my part. Specifically working on evaluating things as that is most definitely my weakest point.

Overall not a good project but it happens and hopefully this next project will be miles better.
